Itenary

Day 0: Journey Mumbai to Tarkarli
Stary your journey from Mumbai to Tarkarli in evening by overnight Deluxe non-ac bus.
Meals: No meals

Day 1: Malvan Sight Seeing.
After reaching Malvan / Tarkarli around 7 - 8 am, transfer & check in to resort. Standard check in time 10 am. Have tasty Breakfast. Then go for Malvan & tarkarli sight seeing which includes tarkarli beach, Bharadi Devi Mandir, Ozor Caves, Kolam River, Chivla Beach, Jai Ganesh Mandir, Rock Garden, , Malvan Market. Return back to resort. Have Overnight Stay in Hotel.
Meals: Breakfast Only

Day 2: Water Sports activities / Leisure day
After Breakfast, proceed for Water Sports. Those opting for water sports will go for water sports activities that include Jetski, Banana Ride, Bumper Ride, Speed Boat rides. Also experience Parasailing & Scuba Diving. Spend evening shopping in the malvan market. Those not opting for water sports will have entire day at leisure. At own expenses, you may go for Sindhudurg fort visit by jetty or simply roam around nearby markets. Return back to resort. Have Overnight Stay in Hotel.
Note: Transport is not included on this day. Water sports at 5 - 15 mins walk able distance from Resort

Day 3: Journey Tarkarli to Mumbai
After Breakfast, pack your bags for your return journey. Check out of hotel at 10 am and transfer to Bus starting point. Bus departure time is 3:30 pm. This is the time to say good bye to our representative. You may still have some time where you can shop for your loved ones until the Bus Journey starts in the afternoon and will be an overnight journey. Reach Mumbai on next day. Your Tarkarli trip will end here as per Itenary but will be everlasting memories in your minds.

Malvan (मालवण) is a town and taluka in Sindhudurg District, the southernmost district of Maharashtra State, India, well known for the historically important Sindhudurg Fort. The main occupation here is fishing with the staple diet of the local people fish curry and rice. The town produces Alphonso mangoes and is also known for sweets such as Malvani Khaja made from gram-besan flour and coated jaggery as well as Malvani Ladoos. Malvani Dashavtar, a drama-play based on mythological stories, is an important cultural element of the area.

Scuba diving and snorkeling

In India there are a very few places where scuba diving can be done and Malvan is one of them. Due to its relatively clear sea waters, Malvan serves as a perfect spot for scuba diving (done mostly with surface oxygen supply) and snorkeling. Near the outer walls of Sindhudurg fort one can see lots of live corals and colorful marine life under the sea.

Malvan has emerged as one of the major tourist attraction places in Maharashtra in recent years. Its clean beaches, historical monuments, tasty food/sea food options, various affordable water sports are attracting tourists like magnet. There are many guest house options available in Malvan for stay. Oct to May is the best time to visit. Tourists are advised to book the stay in advance in case planning to visit in months of Apr to May and Nov to Dec; there is large influx of tourists during these months.

  • Sindhudurg - A sea fort surrounded by sea water from all sides. Only way to reach the fort is by boat. This impressive Sindhudurg (meaning Ocean Fort), was built in 1664 by the great 17th century Maratha King, Shivaji on "Kurte" island to the glory of the Maratha Empire. The construction of a sea fort was a stupendous task which is said to be completed in mere two and a half years. Over 2000 khandis (4000 mounds) of iron were used for casting and the foundation stones were laid down firmly in lead. It is said that the rocks of the same island were used to build the fort. Three sweet water wells are present on Sindhudurg Fort.
  • Tarkarli - A serene beach located 8 km off Malvan town. It has a Cottage Resort around the beach developed by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation(MTDC). This beach is a favorite with sand particles devoid of any red tinge and sky reflecting waters. Further north about another 6–7 km, is the Tarkarli creek and a lovely estuary. A boat ride on the Tarkarli creek is a pleasant way to spend some time.
  • Rock Garden - The Rock garden is situated near the Arase Mahal and on the Rocky Shore of Malvan.

  • Chivla Beach There are 5 to 6 beach stays gives an excellent accommodation, "Vasanti" House, which is MTDC approved under Bed and Breakfast scheme of Sindhudurg heading. "Dhananjay Niwas" is a preferred guest house for near beach experience, specializing in group stay.

  • Waingani : There is a Shri Dev Ravalnath Mandir a famous temple. It is a very old temple in Waingani & also a "Gramdaivat" of Waingani. It is a very beautiful model of architecture. There are so many old temples, which is a pride of Waingani. There are many annual festivals. There are so many natural beautiful places, which attract tourists. Waingani is 10 km from Malvan city and 40 km from Kankavali. There is a Waingani Beach.
